Had a ton of fun at the local commander night. First pic is my opening hand first game (4 mana turn 1) and second pic is when I got an Ajani's Pridemate to 44/44, which I also later gave Whispersilk Cloak to (haste shroud and can't be blocked). Absolute chaos.

Oh, oh ok. Alan Wake 2 is actually kind of scary, or at least trying to be. The first game was "spooky" in a mostly fun way but not so gruesome or startling.

Yeah this is very much my jam so far.

I'm writing a plugin system so that you can add features to it with your own code for example and the possibilities are basically endless at that point. Most of the kinds of integrations I would like would be pretty trivial and they would implement a common standard.

I haven't talked about it all that much but I really am excited about the future of my database project. I've been making a lot of style changes and new features recently and it really feels like with just the right exposure, once it is ready it could really blow up.

Lol I pulled a card from a pack, said "this is insane it's going in my deck" only to find out it's banned in commander. Well... It's like a fifty dollar card so maybe I'll find a use for it someday.

Really enjoyed Killers of the Flower Moon. Maybe just a tad too drawn out in the third act but I love the message and I love almost everything else about the movie. It feels like a very ambitious project that was executed with just the right amount of restraint and excess both.

Having the very upsetting realization that I don't really like the Dawntrail theme song anywhere near as much as the past... Well, everything. I'm sure the expansion will be enjoyable but I do feel there is a risk of them taking it a bit too easy with this one.

Today on eBay I lost two bids at the last second that I really wanted to win, and I won a bid that I accidentally placed for an item I already ordered somewhere else. The universe is getting back at me for something but I don't know what.

Commander being the most popular MTG format is pretty hilarious in a way. It's basically like what if someone's "all items on, stamina battle, 4 players, no Jigglypuff" Smash house rules just completely overshadowed the way you're "supposed to play" the game and it rules.

Bought a couple One Piece TCG starter decks to play with a friend + a booster box. Haven't gotten as round to playing yet but the box apparently had enough rares in it to pay for itself and most of another box? I've never had this much luck with Magic 😳

Can't organize any of my cards because Amazon lost my package of 1200 sleeves in the mail. Watch it show up randomly in like 3 months out of nowhere after I've got replacements. Enough to sleeve twelve whole commander decks 🫠

Went 2-1 in a local Magic draft! Almost won a round off my final opponent too. Went for a green/black foodie deck but my draws weren't as good as I'd hoped.

Draft is super fun! I'm playing again next weekend for sure!
