Except for a poor managerial decision that led to a horrible inning Monday night these 6 games should make Orioles fans feel good. Undermanned they gave two really good teams a battle.

I do want to see Beavers play this year but after a day of thinking an extended runout of Carlson is not a bad thing. Switch hitter who can play all 3 positions. That is worth so much if he can hit the ball.

I love Vavra but we don’t need to see what he can do.

So 3 more or less interchangeable infielders and no one in the outfield to give them a chance.

We can think that he screwed up building a pitching staff last winter and did well building the core of this team. Yes both of them can be true. We can also be unsure how well he did this trade deadline. We got many young bodies and hope. Now he needs to build a real pitching staff.

Because all except 2 were free agents after this season. They had 50 games left as Orioles.

Kid has definitely gotten some bad breaks.
