Many employers want to replace us with bots that destroy the climate and the economy.

AI is simply not the logical or ethical technology to implement. It cannot even perform basic tasks.

How many employers are going to continue to be job destroyers in the downward pursuit of short term profits?

An AI named Alex from Artech cold called me about a job I never applied for within my field of work (IT).

It was hiring for a gov branch. Could not tell me the gov branch, salary, title, job description.

But I was able to tweak its programming and get it try to recite ฯ€, then be unable to speak.

Immunization records | HealthLink BC Immunization records (also called vaccination records) provide a history of all the vaccines a person has received. People without immunization records (or proof of immunity to disease) are considered unimmunized and unprotected.

I am not familiar with BC's healthcare. However the first link I found regarding their immunization records is;

www.healthlinkbc.ca/health-libra...

You may use the Health Gateway to access your records.
I hope this helps.

Your Immunization Record Matters | Province of Manitoba A complete immunization record lets your health care provider know which vaccines you may be due or overdue to receive, based on Manitoba's routine immunization schedule.

Cautionary tale;
All my life my folks told me I was vaccinated for everything. With measles coming back I requested my Immunization Record.
Turns out I'm missing essential childhood vaccines.
Booking appointments today to get that fixed.

It never hurts to verify claims

American forces are routinely murdering innocent people on their streets.

Canadian individuals alone cannot stop their authoritarian regime.
We can in solidarity boycott imports, vote against American style politicians, voice ourselves for justice & peace. We must defend Canada from MAGA ideology.

Weird experience today. Walking my dog, older man walking his shy dog towards us. I tried to introduce my dog & I as she is very friendly, playful. His looked the same.

The man immediately began SCREAMING wild obscenities & Yelling "GO! Go Away!" without warning.

Dogs just want to sniff, say hi ๐Ÿฅบ

Jan 20 means all or most of all the CRA's tax docs go live on their site.
Assuming they all drop soon, I should have my taxes completed as I finish my coffee tomorrow.

I encourage everyone to keep up to date with the CRA and to check out the T1 package if it applies.

In the workplace, workers should have the right to free market workplace standards. Collective family structure workplaces generate more wealth for workers and better working conditions overall. Don't you want to make your worth?

Have any thoughts of what you want to see in a councilor Oct 2026?

Our city must end corporate welfare. Corporations do not need handouts when places like 7-11 exceed maximum price caps with zero punishment, record profits.

Winnipeg must focus on family-centered communities that care about one another. No division and infighting when cooperation works best.

With the start of a new year is the build up to the next municipal election. Here in Winnipeg we must have councillors ready and willing to enact policies to help residents thrive.

We can start with ensuring corporate accountability for all ranges of businesses. This boosts the economy and lives.

Happy Holidays to all that celebrate this time of year!
May your days be festive, full of cheer, safe & warm.

This year my dog is waiting patiently by the tree for her special treat bone to naw on.

I'll be looking forward to the coming new year and saying hi to North Kildonan locals very soon ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿ˜„

Don Davies Nov 29, 2025 did a roast speech making fun of himself, the NDP, Cons, Greens, PQ, and Libs.

A weird conspiracy theory social media account did post the video. However that aside; the jokes were funny, even if some were cringy.

I enjoy self deprecating humor. It shows good character. ๐Ÿ˜‚

I am torn between Avi, Rob, and Tanille.

In a perfect world I would want Tanille's policies, Rob's honest communications and clear knowledge about leftist theory, and Avi's public speaking skills.

Please consider how each would benefit #NDP and Canada when voting March 27-29, 2026 in Winnipeg, MB.

01.12.2025 22:01 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Tony is the clear NDP veteran. He knows his stuff and mirrors calls for UBI, worker rights, climate. Tony did also want others to focus on supporting Tanille before himself to ensure she gets enough funds to run, which is inspiring.
He did however have longer pauses in speech and sharing his ideas.

01.12.2025 22:01 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Tanille surprised me in the best of ways. Some of the best ideas focused on UBI, indigenous progress, and for free higher education. I am sad I have not heard about her sooner. I believe She has some great ideas and is an advocate for those in need.
I would be very happy to see Tanille as leader!

01.12.2025 22:01 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 2    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Rob was the most real of the bunch when it comes to no BS talk. You can tell he is a real working class guy and not just a talker. He spoke of material conditions, the means of production. Genuine leftist concerns.
He just needs more public speaking practice to reduce pauses in speech.

Heather is the NDP seat holder since 2019 and is the most centrist of the candidates. Seemly a moderates delight in policy & praxis. She was the most quiet in the debate and had a focus on unity, home building, and homelessness.
The message Heather gave was not unlike her candidate competitors.

01.12.2025 22:01 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Avi I personally have been following for half a decade. He has history of activism, climate crisis mitigation, wealth tax on the ultra wealthy, against inequality capitalism naturally produces.
The strongest speaker among the 5 with the best ability to interject positive change. No UBI talk sadly.

01.12.2025 22:01 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 2    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Candidates to possibly change this are;
- Avi Lewis
- Heather McPherson
- Rob Ashton
- Tanille Johnson
- Tony McQuail

Not all candidates are fluent in French but all have a unique perspective to help all Canadians.

No one candidate was overtly aggressive or a contrarian to the idea of change.

Going into this I had high expectations for a NDP turnaround and a shift to go left, where NDP have been chasing the Overton Window for some time.

With respect, we are in need of a literal left wing party with literal left wing policies. Something the NDP struggles within at the local exec level.

01.12.2025 22:01 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

NDP Real Talk.

As we know last election the NDP flopped and even lost the P in their name. Other letters are up for debate.
Base voters left in droves as party leadership soured from orange to lemon๐Ÿ‹

New leadership race held with 5 candidates & recent Montreal live debate held to outline policies.

Got to say hi to my favorite college teachers and classmates. Big thanks to Rob C. for teaching me Windows Server fundamentals!

Congrats to Tessa Potter for a most impressive career in tech! ๐Ÿ†

What Winnipeg's new rules mean for people in, and near, encampments
YouTube video by CBC News Manitoba What Winnipeg's new rules mean for people in, and near, encampments

Winnipeg setting up rules on where homeless can live is a grim reflection of policy. It's a policy decision to permit homelessness to persist.
Gillingham admits this law won't solve homelessness.

Other countries solved homelessness. Why can't any branch of gov here?

Got my COVID booster today. Asked the doc how many are doing the same. I was told people are treating the latest wave like it's a pandemic. They're completely booked for weeks for boosters.

While the data is grim. At least people are treating the pandemic for what it is.

Stay healthy out there! ๐Ÿ˜ทโ™ฅ๏ธ

Did you know far-right extremists are bragging about having guys on the โ€œinsideโ€ of the Conservative Party?

Of course, they could be full of it.

But @antihate.ca has the receipts of the claim โ€” and we play them for you on todayโ€™s episode of Bubble Pop:

Canada Post is a public service not a business.
For those unsure the difference;

A public service provides free or very cheap services.

A business extracts profits from the public for shareholders, and in exchange provides at cost that service to those who afford it.

Strikes help workers rights.

Also a fair amount of disrespect to the Canadian flag, lots of American flags and MAGA hats.
Likely the same crowd as the right wing convoy.

Dragging the Canadian flag on the ground and hanging it upside down is not good optics for any group trying to be serious. CK would be proud of his followers.

Watching from afar about 200ish people gather to celebrate Charlie Kirk at the legislature this evening.

Patrick Allard & co claiming CK never was racist, sexist, bigoted.

If you have to spend your entire vigil trying to reassure people your idol wasn't toxic. It only amplifies how toxic CK was.

It's now common knowledge the shooter is suspected to be far-right republican named Tyler Robinson.

How will the party of intolerance answer the call to end gun violence, when the call is coming from within the house?

Will this infighting escalate to fighting the innocent in the name of freedom?
