I don't actually mind how it looks - I do quite like the colours of the UI... (although I do want to change the colours of the attributes)

Sweet Jesus. It's going to be a bloodbath. It's actually not THAT bad... if you look past everything that's not there and everything that's broken. But it's so broken it's not really that enjoyable and it definitely feels like you're a passenger when the match engine is playing out.

I try going into my OneDrive Documents folder, and it just crashes. I might have to do a clean re-install too.

Playing #FM26 for the first time the last couple of days. Had my first game breaking incident when going back to view a goal I missed because I was doing something else. Now it's just doing this. Great. Won 5-1 as well...

Yes, but I had no real bump in the last few days and I haven't written anything.

Ridiculously easy goal to give away. So much space in midfield and no-one is communicating. Massive overload from Crystal Palace on Robertson who doesn't seem bothered to drag a man across him, and Endo is left flat-footed by a simple movement. Do they have to come out for the second half?

Kerkez really does forget he's a defender. Completely switched off there to allow his man to go free with no communication to his teammates and then left Sarr in space.

Anyway, just watched @workthespace.bsky.social somewhat eviscerate the game here. The things you can't do on this game compared to FM24 is actually wild, never mind what they've sent out that isn't functional/good use of UI.

No, this was low balling me on first team players I actually did want. It was so frustrating. They'd kick up a fuss wanting to leave so you try to find a like-for-like replacement and you couldn't for anywhere close to the value they were supposedly meant to be.

But then if I wanted to sign an AI player, I'd have to pay through the nose for them to the point the transfer didn't make any sense. It became disheartening, so I just gave up.

I played FM24 on my mobile thanks to Netflix. The reason I didn't sink loads of hours into it was twofold. One: it burned through my phone's battery, so you couldn't actually play it that long without recharging. Two: the transfer system. The AI was seriously low balling me on every single transfer

That tells me they're giving away an awful lot of copies for free to a user base that's probably not playing the game for very long. Doesn't sound a sustainable model.

Did you read 'How to Win the Premier League'? That is damning of Rodgers too. Painted a picture that it was very much all about him.

Yeah, it's the longevity that's surely an important stat there. Perhaps we're 'legacy fans'?

To the latter point, if they're going down the route of making the game for console use, which is an interesting choice given their current dominant user base, then that'll be never.
