Only in housing do people have this expectation that the poorest people must afford the newest, nicest things. It’s true that income inequality is too high but there are good ways to address that, and preventing housing construction is not one of them.

And my speed is low because I play slow blitz and am being compared to all blitz players? I hope the stats aren’t actually doing the average by game, which would give more weight to faster time controls because under those, more games can be played in a given time duration.
