Day 1 of treating my platy, Biggest Mama, for popeye. They do look better than they did this morning. She's in her hospital tank and while it took her a while to find them, she got a bloodworm dinner with erythromycin for dessert. Fingers crossed!

And of course my heater for the hospital tank is showing no signs of life.... so rather than risk her catching a chill but to keep her safe from being picked on I've got her in this 4 cup pitcher in the main tank. Tomorrow I can can get a new heater and move her over.

After treating the whole tank, then hospital tanking the one that still had symptoms after that, she wasn't improving and one of the newer girls started showing sympts. I just started in the hobby in May this year and I have two tanks: a 39 gal with platies, embers, and corys. My 2nd tank is a 20 long yellow neocaridina tank.

Got a little plant grow-out tank started in preparation for my next tank I want to do. Kedgang diabloica buces, narrow coinleaf and pinto anubias.

One thing I really enjoy about having this platy sorority is that some of thr girls were definitely pregnant when I got them. Since I haven't seen them give birth, when I spot a new tiny fry I love stating "Who's baby is that?!" π€£
