Nothing grinds my gears more than a guy who say they’re so interested in me, and proceeds to talk over me, interrupt me constantly, not listen to anything I say, and not ask a single question to show mutual respect and interest. I’ve called out like four guys since March who do this 🤦🏻‍♀️

I was mostly thinking about Christians and the way they proselytize to everyone and anyone, even if you respectfully decline. I don’t see many other religions so focused on conversion but I could be wrong! (Which is why I’m asking)

In different parts of the world, possibly! (I don’t know enough to have a strong opinion), but it seems to me as an outsider that Islam focuses more on enforcement within the group, I don’t see muslims trying to convert others that often?

Does anyone know any other religion that is as pushy and myopic (ie their way is the *only* right way and won’t listen to any other perspectives) about their beliefs as Christianity? Genuine question.

Was at an indie film festival tonight where a older guy loudly, and rudely, told the photographer to stop taking pics

And the way that the announcer AND the entire audience basically told this guy to leave the theatre if he didn’t want to be photographed or eat shit was honestly healing to the soul
