It's like asking your toaster to the mow the lawn. It doesn't do that. It just cooks bread.

So since the beginning of March, I replaced my $1300 MacBook Air and my $2000 Mac mini with a $280 ThinkPad and a $300 HP Z2 workstation I saved from the eWaste bin, and threw Ubuntu on them.

I have noticed zero decrease in my productivity.

The other day, I was watching some youtuber talking about a small channel, and they talked about someone with 10k subscribers. It really interests me how youtube warped our idea of audience size. 10k people is massive

On the other site, Studio Ghibli-style AI output is going viral and allow me to just say it is profoundly depressing to see that stuff being used to promote OpenAI's latest product. Miyazaki famously called AI-produced art "an insult to life itself"—and this in turn is an insult to him.

I've never used that one but I do most of my audio editing with Reaper and its stock plugins. I would imagine that for voice over/podcast stuff that would be also more than enough
