I will always second this recommendation, it's one of my favourite book series.

If you have a hand cream or perfume or something with a scent that's got good memories associated with it or even just smells like something you really like, use a little bit so you keep getting whiffs of it as you do other stuff, I find that's a good mood lifter for me.
