esp when stede is a sub and ed's doing his best to act the tough dom that stede wants but stede is the word's biggest brat and always has Notes. but also ed loves it when stede gets bitchy so he definitely fucks up on purpose sometimes

stede pausing a scene because ed hasn't sufficiently captured his whole ass ridiculous vision and when they're back on the same page and ready to continue he clicks his fingers and barks "from the top!!!"

A similar thing happened to me about 25 years ago, when I was a preteen. It was a nightmare.
