It’s Day 29 since the first chick sighting and as of today, the nest is now empty. The oldest chick and Mum are spending the day on the neighbour’s climbing frame, while Dad is with the other two on a branch in the nesting tree. #tawnyfrogmouth #birds

I don’t want to fat-shame this possum, but I’ve got a pretty bloody good idea about how he got so porky, and it’s closely related to the vegie garden that’s right under the tree he’s sitting in. 😜

The one on the right is smaller and therefore younger than the other two. The one in the middle is the biggest, has more grey and less white, and is by far the most confident, and therefore probs the oldest.
