Wiley is the latest academic publisher to reach a multi-million deal to allow access to its content to AI developers, with no opt out, let alone payment, for the authors who created that content.

I haven't tried. All I know is that was around midnight after some very long days. Not sure why anyone bothered putting a total in at all though.

The DFA team said they were too tired to do that calculation the night the deal was made and releases went out, not sure who put the 10% figure in.

Elsewhere in universities' core purposes in danger of being compromised by leaders and politicians who don't seem to understand them...

Also have a migraine and returned to physiotherapy because picketing has flared up some issues for me! If I don't get a TA because this whole mess prevented hiring there, there's a whole lot more negative effects coming.
