Chatting with my mun, and she just told me that she's been paying McAfee £120 a year for "protection" on a laptop she barely uses.

Told her to scrap it and just use a free one, at which point ahe asked which antivirus she needed for her phone.

I mean, if I'd watched a great game of football, or rugby (or even, god help me, golf), I know people who would not only be interested to talk about it, but would start a conversation about it themselves.

E-sports? Not so much. I think I know maybe 6 people who even play this particular game.

One of the odd things about being a fan of an e-sport*: you can watch an absolutely remarkable display by a team, something that's never been achieved before, and there's literally no one you can tell who'll give a toss.

*yes, I'm aware being a fan of e-sports is itself a bit odd.

Citation Needed. It's one I recommned with a caveat: a *lot* of the jokes are in dubious taste (they had a running joke where the punchline was "JonBenet Ramsey").

It's a comedy podcast, to be fair.

It's very odd. At least with yours they (presumably) called you on purpose. Mine? No idea. Mobile number I don't recognise, no prebious calls, sounded like they were having a convo with someone else while their phone was off to one side. I'd say call centre, but at this time of night?

Phone rang a few minutes ago. I didn't recognise the number, so declined the call and went back to what I was doing.

Imagine my surprise when it pinged to let me know I had a new voicemail - 5 minutes of faint, barely audible conversation from someone who clearly had no idea they'd called someone.
