The Kiddo and I went to our first Stick & Sage. It was her first time tent camping and first time shooting with me outdoors. I can’t say she loved it, but she said she wants to do it again next year, so that’s a win! A big thanks to the TACO crew for putting on a great event!

On Saturday, I defended my uncontested title at the Oregon State USAA tournament. It was very cross-windy! It was wild to see my arrows fly sideways. I was happy to have ends where all my arrows scored. I was also happy to have a new bale-buddy who was only months into shooting an Olympic Recurve!

It was a good decision as I was able to catch The Kiddo at our neighborhood egg hunt and take the nap that I wanted earlier. 😂

I wish I had a video of the shot and the reaction in the range when I hit the frog on my first try. There was a loud cheer and then a lot of amazement at the frog pinned to the wall. There were smiles, laughter, high fives, and I now have a new desk pet. 😂 #archery #frog
