My issue with it isn't that its conclusions are wrong, but its premise is: "good for them" is already the progressive view on women *and* men getting laid.

More broadly, that we should treat people like human beings is already a key progressive tenet, perhaps the one most consistently spoken to.

An article excerpt which reads, "And where is the counter-narrative? The progressive left seemingly has no opinion on men getting laid. It has opinions on everything else. It has opinions on women getting laid (good for them), it has opinions on toxic masculinity (bad) and it has opinions on gender equality (there should be more of it). But it is completely silent on the subject of men getting laid - which, generally speaking, they are very interested in doing, and will continue to be interested in regardless of whether progressives want to talk about it."

This is where the article gets particularly confusing, claiming progressives have an opinion about women getting laid ("good for them") but that they are "completely silent on the subject of men getting laid."

If "good for them" counts as an opinion, it's one progressives are agendered about!

That doesn't surprise me. A lot of fascists are *extremely* loyal to those who they perceive as being in the in-group.

They simply think everyone outside that group -- in this case, anyone who isn't a conservative Catholic -- is disposable, sub-human, and a threat to their righteous existence.
