So my MiL picked up papa's ashes yesterday and I am horrified to find out she had vials made for each of the kids/grandkids. Maybe they are into it but I do not want a vial of papa hanging around my room. She wasn't happy with my reaction.

Mr. Zeus is waiting for the birds and bunnies to come out.

She didn't go to buy them early enough and they sold out. So now everyone is coming here and she's cooking. I totes mcgoats don't want to see anyone when I'm sick. At least there is chocolate cheesecake.

my throat is very sore this morning. X has declared he should be fine "in a day or two" i glared at him. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and my birthday and I feel like dookie. Of course we are hosting dinner because my MiL wanted to buy premade dinners and take them to my sister in laws house.

MiL just left to go pick up papa's ashes. I said lets put him on the shelf with Tigger (old family cat who died several years ago). She's also picking up our Thanksgiving dinner since X and I are both sick now we can't go to family dinner.

I adopted my void 13 years ago. The shelter was surprised I wanted him. I said why? They said because they have a hard time adopting out black cats :( He is so smart and loving. I couldn't have chosen a better buddy to help me transition to life in Canada.

Oh boy. A city truck rolled up and stopped outside my house. Our water meter is broken. They gonna have to take up half the driveway to fix it. MiL ain't gonna be happy when she hears this. Also why is our water meter underground? Are they not normally on the side of the house?

Our news is airing a story about a woman missing for 8 months. In before they find out her husband killed her. Dude on the news looking shady as shit. "I thought she ran off with another man". Ain't no one believing that story bro.

Zeus is in big trouble today. I was walking back into my bedroom with a full cup of hot tea and the little bastard ran up grabbed my bad leg and sunk his teeth and claws in.

I yelled at him and turned his TV off. Told him he can sit out there and think about what he's done.

I am praying I don't get it but we are in the same room most of the time.

You can say that again. Zeus thinks 5am is 6am. I keep telling him I don't have a job i don't "HAVE" to get up at 6am EVERY day. (I get up at 6am EVERY day because he's the boss around here).

I spent most of today in the living room with Zeus.
