That bill only funds the government through Nov 21 (it's not the "deal")

The Senate deal bill is S.3168 (the text is not up yet)

It will still have to clear the House (& that's not guaranteed)

Personally I was hoping the ACA subsidies were a Macguffin and eventually it would pivot to rescissions, tariffs, and illegal boat murder. But clearly the Senate wasn’t thinking about stopping the President from breaking the law and instead looked to “score some points”.

FWIW it’s been nice to see The Old Line state representatives and government hold the line. Even plugging gaps in SNAP and working hard to get stuff done despite being so close to the clown show in DC.
