Maybe the take is that (a) people think Trump is out of control; and (b) people like Dems when we're taking a stand and fighting for what we believe in - as we have been for the last month.

The prevailing cultural attitude for years is you must not, under any circumstances, treat anything as bad faith. You are obligated to find some reasonable idea and engage with that, even if you distort to get there.
Also under-reported: What's the Opportunity Cost of all the FBI, DEA, National Guard, etc. who are no longer doing their day jobs?
How much work won't be done or crimes prosecuted because these people are out strolling around the parks and streets of DC instead of doing what they're paid for?
Iβm sorry, but βterritorial concessionsβ by any democratic nation protecting their sovereignty and their citizens to any invading army seems kinda nuts, as well as contrary to what our US has always believed.

Electricity bill going up?
One study found that AI data centers were responsible for 63% of price hikes for customers of PJM β the nation's largest electric grid.
Meanwhile, Trump is pushing for more private-sector usage of AI and fast tracking permits for more data centers.
What uncritical acceptance and uncritical rejection of AI both miss is that AI is useful, but that the use cases are limited enough to not justify the enthusiasm.
