Up for a parkrun tomorrow in Mildenhall with a first timer @messageismyname.bsky.social. Not seen each other for six months so looking forward to a catch up.

Once again, it is illegal to protest against the genocide in Gaza as that is un-British.

But selling weapons and parts for planes to Israel is fine.

Starting to keep a diary of parkrun adventures. In the past, whenever I've gone on to do stuff I've got involved in, I don't really document it. I have two months under my belt so it's still fresh. Thanks to my friends who have been backing me so far, I'll keep trying to get to the start line.

I live in a country where we recognise the state of Palestine and yet can get arrested for protesting against the destruction of Palestine.

I got lucky, my fourth choice run was on but it wasn't looking good last night while peering out the pub window.

It was my first one there today.

Thankful that Bug Hunter Waters parkrun was on. Wind picked up a lot of the second lap so not too bad at all. Compression knee bandages were the real winner.

Fingers crossed that Bug Hunter Waters parkrun is on in the morning, looks like my only hope currently. If not, lay in and computer games until football at 3.

Weather has already accounted for one parkrun tomorrow (Ferry Meadows in Peterborough) but still hopeful another one locally will be fine. I've got options anyway and a supporter so cross everything. Understand if not, safety first and foremost.

Better to try than not at all.

Might be a bit wet on Friday so assessing alternate parkrun venues in Cambridgeshire at Huntingdon might get a little slippery. Ferry Meadows in Peterborough looks the favourite right now.

That's a level of confidence some of us can only dream of.

That was a great weekend meeting up with friends back in Sussex and spending time with dad, still looking sprightly for 81. Maybe the best one since mum died

Restful afternoon, back to work tomorrow and get myself ready for the next parkrun on Saturday (hopefully Huntingdon is the weather behaves).

So true. Sets me up for the weekend. My goal is to turn up as often as I can, anything else is a bonus.
