I don't think it's as simple as the media merely wanting to help Trump. It was more a function of the media's quixotic attempt to stay "fair and balanced" in its endless election coverage. High egg prices and being old were pretty much all they had on Biden, just like Hillary's emails.

Let’s never forget that 4500 US troops and about 200,000 Iraqi civilians died because Dick Cheney and his crew successfully deployed lies to grease the way to the Iraq invasion. He exploited post-9/11 fear and conned the public to launch a disastrous war. That’s his legacy.

All these questions about Trump illegally trying to stay in power past the constitutionally mandated term limits are doing his bidding (consciously or not) by normalizing the issue. It’s against the law. Period. (Also, he ain’t beating Obama).

I see a lot of people wringing their hands over shameless clown + white nationalist Steve Bannon insisting that Trump will serve a third term. And I get it. Folks are so traumatized and rattled regarding the past 10 years that they're letting him get under their skin.

Don't. Here's why.

Oh yes, I vaguely remember that. I mean, while it wasn’t a stance I agreed with either at the time, at least he’s a politically engaged progressive - more than we can say for most super rich, famous people, right?

I appreciate the kind words but I have to plead ignorance here. I don’t know much about George Clooney. What did he do that has you so mad at him?

I have no idea if he’s a good guy or an entitled asshole but I think what he was trying to say about his kids came out awkwardly and wasn’t as bad as it sounded.

I think that Clooney probably regrets phrasing it that way - what he meant was his kids might have a better shot at not becoming entitled assholes by growing up somewhere that doesn’t go apeshit over his fame.
