An excerpt from the Lands of Mystery RPG. (The author of this post would like you to know that the RPG is not technically canon). It reads: Undermine is the center of goblin civilization. It is located beneath and within Kezan, and is connected to the island via a series of volcanic tunnels. The main centers of Undermine are in volcanic caverns beneath Kezan. Secondary island caverns exist farther away, and the goblins have constructed tunnels of thick glass that lead to these smaller areas. Passing through these tubes means walking along the ocean's floor and looking out to see the colorful fish and hungry sharks nearby. Weird.

An excerpt from The Blank Scroll short story. It makes reference to "Pyrix", one of Undermine's sluicetowns.

Fun fact: Undermine is actually bigger than what we see in-game!

One of the drill operators says the part we're in is just "downtown" and the RPG even mentions a whole network of tunnels that connect the city's different centers beneath Kezan/nearby islands.

March is the time when we come out of our chrysalis and unleash bloody mayhem in Undermine in ✨style✨

This is by no means a comprehensive list (there's actually probably three times as many goblins in Undermine that we've already seen elsewhere on Azeroth), just some of the NPCs we see around the cartel headquarters.

An excerpt from the Lands of Mystery RPG about Enric Torque. It says: Captain of the Shattered Dagger, Enric is a goblin who is relatively new to the Blackwater Raiders, but has become a respected and feared member. He has an uncanny ability to judge weather and sea conditions, and once challenged one of the other captains in the Blackwater Raiders to a race. He did so on a day he could taste a storm on the air; the other captain got well ahead, pleased with his progress, until his ship was struck by lightning and sank, burning. Some of the Blackwater Raiders believes he commands the weather to do his will. Small even for a goblin, Enric attacks the knees and tendons of his opponents, preferring to cripple them before dissecting them.

Honorable mentions for this guy, who made it all the way out of the RPG! (Though I think he also gets a mention in the Traveler novels).

Also technically left out Hobart Grapplehammer who shows up *many times* between the goblin starting zone and heritage questline.

From the top left going clockwise: Sassy Hardwrench, who pops up in the goblin starting zone. Pozzik, who appears in Shimmering Flats in both vanilla and Cataclysm. Crank Greasefuse from the goblin heritage questline. Noggle Ficklespragg and, below that, his cousin Beetix Ficklespragg, both of whom can be found in Silithus. Then Mother Goldskimmer and Ace from the goblin starting zone. Crazz and Fin Fizracket, pirates from Booty Bay. And lastly, Izzy, who's also in the goblin starting zone.

These past few years, #Gnomebruary2025 has been a nice change of pace. A chance to flex creative muscles a little differently by focusing on single images or comics instead of video. Not to mention a chance to develop a Gnome paladin OC a bit more ☺️
