The situation in Gaza is unacceptable and antithetical to our Jewish values, and itβs incumbent on the Israeli government, the United States, and all parties to ensure that Gazans have access to food.

Every leader should condemn Rep. Fine's abhorrent comments.
A year ago today, @kamalaharris.com took on the impossible task of trying to win a presidential election in just 107 days, just 77 days until early voting began, while building the campaign while she was running it & introducing herself to voters. She nearly made the impossible possible. 1/

DNC Chair @kenmartin.bsky.social clarified that the phrase "globalize the intifada" is "reckless & dangerous" because "it can be seen as a green light to terror."
He said: "There's no place for rhetoric that can be seen as a call to violence" and "it should be unequivocally condemned."

We can vehemently disagree on Israel & antisemitism, as @jewishdems.bsky.social has done with Rep. Omar, without vilification.
Profound disagreement does not justify Islamophobia or hate speech.
This is abhorrent, and Rep. Fine should apologize.

"Peace through strength" in a domestic setting is a means of authoritarianism. The Trump administration is manufacturing a crisis in order to give him more power. It's un-American.

Deploying the National Guard is a dangerous escalation meant to provoke chaos. In addition to the recent ICE raids in Southern California and across our nation, it is part of the Trump Administrationβs cruel, calculated agenda to spread panic and division. This Administrationβs actions are not about public safety βtheyβre about stoking fear. Fear of a community demanding dignity and due process. Protest is a powerful tool β essential in the fight for justice. And as the LAPD, Mayor, and Governor have noted, demonstrations in defense of our immigrant neighbors have been overwhelmingly peaceful. These 3 attacks are antisemitic violence. This is a pattern - possibly even copycat attacks - and it must come to an immediate end.
The American Jewish community is in pain. We mourn this loss of life and are reeling from violence. Arbitrarily attacking Jews only brings us further from peace. 5/6
