Pretty much outed himself as xenophobic

The BBC is the licence fee version of the Daily Mail.

What on earth is this Tory propaganda?!

โ€œwarnsโ€ is completely the wrong word to use here. Itโ€™s a โ€œclaimโ€, and a very dangerous claim at that.

Iโ€™m not even going to bother explaining how badly this article has been written.

If someone at the BBC says it is an impartial broadcaster, then they are gaslighting you.

Silencing Gary Lineker is not impartial.

Removing a documentary about the humanitarian crisis in Gaza is not impartial.

Giving Farage a platform while not interviewing Polanski is not impartial.

Suspect there's an element of what gets more clicks too, because people feel strongly one way or the other about Reform but Greens don't tend to provoke as visceral a reaction

The Green Party has 4 MPs. Reform; 5.

The Green Party has 872 council seats. Reform; 893.

There is only a marginal difference in the parties' electoral footprint, but not in their media coverage.

It is nothing more than an editorial decision for the BBC (+ others) not to give Polanski airtime.

14 years of Tory austerity have stripped away anything that could be broadly defined as a 'luxury'.

The very grim reality is that if any council is going to cut spending further, they will have to target social care - which will deeply impact vulnerable people.

Reform poised to raise Kent council tax as Musk-inspired attack on costs falters
ANNA GROSS - KENT
Kent's local authority will probably raise council tax rates next year as Reform UK strugglesto find big savings under an Elon Musk-inspired cost-cutting drive.
Kent was one of 10 councils that Nigel Farage's rightwing populist party seized in a swath of local election victories in May. He vowed to save "a lot of money" by abolishing "wasteful" spending.
But Diane Morton, Reform's cabinet member for adult social care on Kent county council, told the Financial Times that services were already "down to the bare bones".
"We've got more demand than ever before and it's growing." she said, stressing she did not believe access to those services should be limited. "We just want more money." As with many local

Anyone remember Reform promising to go into their new councils with DOGE-style units to slash โ€œwasteโ€ and stop taxes from rising? Yeah, it went exactly as youโ€™d expect if you put people in charge who have no idea how anything works.

No time frame as of yet, but an MCL isnโ€™t something heโ€™ll recover from quickly. Heโ€™s very likely to have pain in his knee for a while.
