I wonder if Pho Lien Hoa assumes they don't have to care because they have had such a big following for so long. It was never like this. I will definitely try VII Asian Bistro.

What is a good pho place downtown or in the urban district?

I had asked the server to provide separate checks. She didn't do so. The cashier refused to acknowledge me or let me ask about the check. He was proceeding with ignoring me while ringing us up. I have patronized Pho Lien Hoa for over 30 years. They were good. But I wouldn't recommend them now.

The pho itself was just a mass of noodles, very little broth, onion or rare steak. The spring roll was split open when it arrived at the table. The service was as bad as it gets. And the cashier refused to get off of what was clearly a personal call when I sought to separate the bill...

I've been debating whether to say anything on this... but I had an experience at Pho Lien Hoa that was over the top bad. I don't mind paying higher prices - it's hitting restaurants all over. I was a bit irked at having to buy a bottle of water instead being able to get a glass of ice water. But...

State elected officials will chalk this up to a statewide win. But I strongly suspect it is largely OKC, maybe Tulsa, that is keeping Oklahoma moving forward. And OKC is run MUCH differently than the state.
