I’m not exactly sure what the reckoning should look like, but the field of the learning sciences needs to confront its roots in the work and words of Roger Schank and his misogyny and racism.

I swear, half of the advice I typically give to graduate students at the prelim/proposal phase is to not do the fancy/flashy thing and just do the basic analysis, but really really deeply and well.
