Iran is a tyrannical unpleasant country but they are not the threat to the peace.
Israel is a war-mongering, genocidal, terrorist state and is a threat to everyone's peace.
Please stop the dog whistle prefacing Israel criticism with 'but the other guys were sort of asking for it'

A graphic with a headline from The Canary. It reads: Two MPs openly back Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) benefits cuts - yet sit on the parliamentary group for ME/CFS. Under the headline it reads, and one of them is Exeter MP Steve Race.
Labour's benefits cuts will be a disaster for people living with ME.
As a member of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on ME #Exeter MP @steveracemp.bsky.social should know this.
Yet he still joined 35 other Labour MPs in publicly supporting cuts to benefits for chronically ill & disabled people.
Every, increasingly, insane thing Trump does fits the question "if you were a Russian agent, would you do anything different?"
To me, it looks as if he and Musk are deliberately trying to provoke a civil war, and Putin will be laughing all the way.
These are self imposed fiscal rules.
Self imposed.
Labour are choosing to push 50,000 children into poverty to signal to wealth & capital that they're on their side.
Disgusting. Sick. Broken.
What??
Do you want them to limit climate breakdown by not taking action??
So the incompetent, evil, Tories wiped Labour out because Labour refused to listen to their core voters.
Then Starmer and Reeves got into power (because everyone hates the Tories, not because Labour were good).
And now Labour are openly screwing over their core voters.
What could go wrong? π€

Last night only THREE peers in the House of Lords called for public ownership of England's water industry.
That was me, Jenny Jones & Natalie Bennett (Green Party) out of a membership of 827.
Public ownership officially opposed by Labour, Tories and LibDems.
Most people want to end the scandal.

Residents left without County Council representation. On May 1 local residents can elect a councillor who will work hard all year round. Green Party - Real Hope, Real Change.
Labour have failed Heavitree & Whipton Barton #Exeter.
They have known their councillor is totally inactive but failed to hold a by-election.
On May 1 residents can bring real change by electing a Green County councillor to join our two hardworking City councillors in Heavitree.
Herts County Council has challenged the expansion of Stansted Airport, saying the project "must be fully compatible with the country's carbon and climate change commitments."
(The expansion was rejected by the local council in 2020, then forced through by central government in 2023.)
Hoorah, great to see a council on the right side of this daft battle.
