#ttrpg Auction time in Barrett and shifted a jewelled dagger for twice it's price by bigging up it's provenance (Lamia haunted ruins). Then an alarm, an attack on the docks, so off we go, deal with the undead frost giant, no sign of the city guard so it's up to us to find the necromancer!

Yeah, anything clever seems to get canned. Although in a lovely exception to prove the rule Dept Q got a 2nd season, not Nicola Walker but Scottish Scandi Noir detective drama which is well worth a punt.

#TTRPG Finally returned to Barrett after dodging a Basilisk in our exit from Darkheart. Local Thief Weaver gave me the heads up that my guildmate, Swift had been defeathered and there were assassins out for him so arranging transport to Rabbit to see what the hell is going on.

Makes you wonder how badly Cleopatra fucked up in order to have her soul split into 100,000 gullible twats.

The Bonebreakers (Dwarven company I'd invested in) to the rescue. Released without charge and our Cleric arrived from Barrett. Needlefinger is a cursed hag (recall the hot snake injections) and Jay needs to go to the Moontide Elves for treatment so it's me and the Cleric for the next few weeks.

#TTRPG Deeper into the tunnels with Jay flagging, met a Dwarf and his dog and tagged along with them until it was clear how to escape to Darkheart (Dwarven town). Minecart ride from hell and strange visions had me arrested for arson but at least Jay is getting treatment.

#TTRPG Featherfall ftw during a 100' climb to escape the caves only to come in more useful when I had to jump back down after it was revealed that the Red Guard are hunting for able bodied conscripts. Hoping there really are dwarves at the end of this tunnel because so far it's just angry lizardmen.

The Christmas Turkey setting off the Purrrpl Burrglrrr Alarrrm and getting the police in probably.

Good job my dice came through on the Wis save, between me and the DM no fewer than 14 Nat 1's and a full dice jail this session. Not to mention the fact that the local sheriff decided it was safer to trap us in the cave by cutting the rope ladder. He did say sorry so I might not stab him... much.

#TTRPG Descended into the Maiden's Fall caves in search of a missing Bard. Acid spitting beetles dodged, Giant spiders stabbed and finally found the cursed Dragon's Hoard and the Bard obsessively counting it. Nat 20 Wisdom save against the Dragon's ghost and dragged Bard out and collapsed the cave.

#TTRPG Shall be having words with the salesman after moss goblins lit fires around my Leomund's Tiny Hut and spoiled a Long rest. Ended up fighting them, a shambling mound and the gross, ickiness that was Needlefinger with his hot snake injections 🤮. NF got away but with no rest we weren't chasing!

#TTRPG Secretive lot in Kessey's Gap. Took bandits attacking the Tavern and us fending them off in order for them to finally open up to us. Local Bard seems to have gotten obsessed with finding something (Dragon Hoard?) in some local caves and we need to retrieve him. Hope he hasn't dig too deep!

#TTRPG Heading north out of Sudreya and back into Murdaugh. Definitely more shit here, King's men extorting tithes and drafting all able bodied men for the pointless war with Wivinia. Stopped in Kessey's gap and people have gone missing. Time for investimigations!

#TTRPG Captured assassin revealed the antidote and the victim cured. Sold my tatty magic carpet, rehomed some Orphans by teleporting them to an acquaintance (with consent) and we're off to meet up with our Cleric, hopefully on the way home. I seriously doubt it will be that simple.

#TTRPG Attempt to draw out assassin by holding the wedding with me disguised as the groom worked to a certain extent in that the bride turned out not to be the bride either. Assassin's love to stabby so Jay (DPC) got to see what taking no damage in a fight feels like and I got the opposite... ouch.

#TTRPG Investigations continue and we have a suspect in the childhood friend of the bride. Pursuing lead in the market, got confirmation she was there but called off by our cleric who in absentia asked for us to check out a blue door. Inevitable portally mess ensued but timey-wimey so no time lost.

#TTRPG Further investigations with the local thieves guild point toward a stall in the market. Decide that the local guild are a bit thuggish for my taste and make a note to have them replaced if at all possible but not before temporarily re-housing some orphans.

I recently had a surprisingly chill encounter with a Djinn, to be fair I encountered them recently because they had previously fucked me over whilst pretending to be human. I am however completely suspicious of the flying carpet he gave me.

#TTRPG As I haven't become the groom yet, free to abscond. On to Jay's clan and begun to investigate the poisoning of her brother. Two lines of enquiry, where is his chalice? Who benefits? 1st led to a prison break where a guard may or may not have set fire to himself, #wasntmeguv Disguise self ftw!

#TTRPG Cleric departed to research why an Elf captain is hunting me. Fighter companions brother ill so on the magic carpet to help. See the Elf Captain under attack so land to hearts and minds him. Kill the beasts but apparently I'm the "Absconded Groom" and they want to take me back to "The Bride"

Got out of it with a Favour from the Djinn lord and a fucked up magic carpet which my Sudreyan Fighter companion refuses to ride because it would be too cliche. Credit to my Cleric companion for the turn that really put the Ifrit in the bottle though.

#TTRPG Djinn Lord apparently the husband of the crazy Ifrit but wants her bottled. Defeat her undead Drake and trap her in a bottle which we deliver back to him but not before meeting an Elf patrol hunting a half Djinn and thought it was me, bluffed it out for now but Djinn called me cousin so FML.
