Oh dear. @telegraph.co.uk campaign to "Save Britain's Pubs" (by allowing people to drink and drive?) starts off with them not even spelling Wetherspoons correctly. Shurely shome mishtake? @privateeyenews.bsky.social

The BBC are accidentally running the subtitles to Mrs Marple over the Mercury Prize, and it’s rather wonderful. A few of lines could plausibly have been written by Jarvis.

It's quite a depressing read - I'm not sure I would actually ever recommend it.

You're onto something here. Coming up for air is very similar. A fantasy about having an affair wrapped up in nostalgia and impending war.

Graphic with the headline β€œLondon is the greatest city in the world” set against a bright view of the River Thames with the Shard, Tower Bridge and the city skyline.

The text celebrates what makes London special: regularly voted the number one city in the world, incredible diversity with over 300 languages spoken, world-class transport, world leader in finance tech and life sciences, best museums and galleries many free to visit, world-leading nightlife, food sport and music for every taste, host to the world’s best sporting events, home to seven Premier League clubs, globally-ranked universities, a city where you can be yourself and love who you love, and a place for everyone.

🧡 It is exactly a year ago since the general election. Labour have turned out to be a massive disappointment, the Tories have almost vanished into obscurity, and Reform are still twats. Here's a little story from last year from when the Conservatives wanted me to work for them.

I've been rattling through the entire past catalogue of Strong Songs since you first mentioned it a month or so ago. Personal favourites are: September, God Only Knows, Paranoid Android and Born To Run - a song I didn't originally like but now love. Amazing work by Kirk.

North Korean hackers ran US-based β€œlaptop farm” from Arizona woman’s home North Korea made millions from the scheme.

Another mad read. Woman hosted corporate laptops in Arizona so North Koreans could be "in America" remote workers for US companies. Anything for a $ - a good paying 9-5 job?
