Please ask him -"even if FBI agents were there whipping up the crowd, does that totally absolve someone who assaulted a police officer from any personal blame and accountability whatsoever?" (NB, there was no false flag, but still...)

This seems a total non-story. Didn't break any rules, didn't avoid any tax, but might have done if all the circumstances had been different. 🤷 Seems like it's trying to get readers to equate with the Angela Rayner stuff, without actually saying that. Hope for balance they're digging around Farage

Does anyone following #mathstoday know of any national analysis from the past year that compares results from those students that studied both Functional Skills Maths AND English? Or has anyone got any individual school level analysis they might be willing to share?

All #raisetheflag and #unitethekingdom flagshaggers gonna be out in force protesting against #Trump, right? A foreigner who is an actually convicted sexual predator who was quite probably part of a gang involved in the trafficking and sexual abuse of young girls? Or orange skin ok, brown skin bad?

ECT this afternoon telling me I shouldn't have my photocopy code stored in my badge holder as the kids could get hold of it. There's only one copier, in the staffroom, 3 locked doors from any kid accessible area 😂

No problem with weighing things up and taking a gamble. But, when gambles fail, there's a price to pay. Starmer gambled and lost - what will be the price?

@ottoenglish.bsky.social
Farage fans don't care. They only see those issues through the lens of impacting "others". They are utterly impervious to reasoned facts and logic. How will/could it directly, negatively, impact *them*. That's when there might be some actual cut-through.

Anti state means nothing to them without clear examples.
"And this will negatively impact you, the white, working class, low to middle income male because..."
Fewer benefits, to them, means "for others", so be clear what THEY will lose. End of the NHS - " I hardly use it, so 🤷". Spell it all out.

Pointing out how Equality (any) Laws affect minority groups isn't a winning strategy with Farage fans. Need to point out how it directly impacts white, working class, lower educated, foreigner-fearing pub bores. They're only thinking about themselves - messaging needs to work on that basis

So Trump was an informant taking down Epstein, even though this didnt happen at all, but was also a Democrat hoax and it was actually only Dems that took part. JFC, pick a damn lane!

They might claim that's the reason. But has always been disproportional where Farage is concerned. Labour did not get this level of coverage,in excess of Tories, prior to last GE despite being massively ahead in polls. Farage love-in has been unhinged for years

Can someone cleverer and with more stamina than I, please record the number of hours of news coverage, weblinks, column inches etc this Reform conference gets from BBC, Sky and Channel 4 in particular, then compare with coverage of the Greens, Lib Dems, even Labour and Tory conferences

Honestly, I'll take anything at all! Trying to see where topics might overlap as I'm worried about the time demands of trying to fit everything in throughout only yr11. Not gonna lie, lazily hoping something was already out there 👍👍

👍 Same here. Yr11s I've got are to do both, apparently 😬

#mathstoday has anyone got or know of a document whereby functional skills curriculum content has been mapped against GCSE foundation level? Preferably for Edexcel, but happy for anything!

Hey Matt
Am I able to upgrade my individual membership to a whole school one, or will I need to just get a separate account?
