Been feeling ill the past few days, so I've not been able to do any hobby stuff. At least today, I felt ok enough to assemble the Origami Warriors and Daimyo for my Yoroni. They were relatively easy to assemble!

3rd to 6th edition Warhammer Fantasy High Elf army. Silver Helms, plastic archers with metal command, plastic spearmen with metal command, 6th ed Swordmasters, 4th ed Phoenix Guard with 6th ed Command, Tiranoc Chariot, Warhammer Quest Elf Ranger, Teclis, 4th ed Imrik, Thaindon riding Kargos the Despoiler, Bolt Throwers... and several extra Command Groups.

Can't fully describe how lovely assembling this army has been... pure contentment.

3rd to 6th ed High Elf army. Got some more 4th ed Phoenix Guard and 5th ed Reavers on the way.

Would love to add some 4th ed White Lions and Maiden Guard.

Bit more assembly... Galrauch was a bit of an arse, but not as bad as I'd feared.

But why the heck wasn't it released in resin?

One W'adrhûn Thunder Rider, that, even though it's a modern model, was quite nice to put together... and I just love em.

Yep, agreed! Just can't beat the older designs. I did get more modern chimeras, but was never too bothered aboit originals for those... the Hellhound was the main classic I wanted on the Chimera chassis. I'd love to get a Griffon, too, but those always go for silly money.

Cheers! I was really lucky with the first demolisher, which came with the box. The other two were about average for 3 or 4 years ago, when I got them, and needed a lot of work!

Had enough of modern models so I thought I'd make a start on assembling my #oldhammer High Elf army.

Every bit of assembling this dragon was preferable to modern plastics... even pinning the metal wings!
