You're right, *of course* Loid would know what kind of sounds dogs respond to. I think the whole set-up & multiple punchlines work so well because you kept the dialogue perfectly in character for Loid and Yor!

I am very impressed by how you thought of a similar (but even funnier) pun, and then kept the gag running through the rest of the panel, working within the constraints of the artwork!...

And I've always wondered what the original textwas. Perhaps Japanese uses loan words for plosives and explosives, so the joke is the same, but no!

I looked it up and the original joke was on the same lines, Yor mistaking "consonents" for "causes of death" which is funny but not on the same level...

Great! I love Spy x Family and your translation is a big part of that.

Of my many many favourites, #1 has to be the one where Anya is deciding on a name for Bond and Loid tells her dogs prefer plosives, then Yor mishears this as "dogs prefer explosives".

Many of the scientists that the Trump administration is defunding and persecuting will be working on strategically important technologies and research areas. The UK and other European countries should urgently establish programmes to bring those researchers here.

Have the commentators explained what BIRD actually do? What are their 2 current products?

It's risky, but more knowledge is always best.
