Characterized two distinct classes of promoter motifs that are likely the basis for the switch from early to late phage gene expression
Documented early host transcriptome reprogramming, including upregulation of cobalamin biosynthesis within 5 min of infection ( part of a general stress response?)

Key highlights from the work: Using proteogenomics we identified 29 phage-encoded putative particle-associated proteins
Monitored phage and host gene expression throughout infection where we:
Mapped 81 phage transcription start sites and 66 phage termination sites via ONT-cappable-seq

A new milestone in our phage research program. Our latest paper is now out #msystems @asm.org where we dig deeper into the systems biology of phage/host interactions using a multi-omics approach. We studied the P100-like #phage CKA15 infecting #Listeria mono
