If she's looking for a man like her dad, that would seem to reflect well on you, sir, as they aren't looking for someone totally unlike you.

But he says he isn't doing political theology, just "Christian political theory." He says it's so logical that there should be no need to try and refute single points, only the whole system.
I mark few books. That one would have bled to death if I had used a red pen. Really, really bad argumentation

Political power and moral authority are different birds, The former can force conformity, yet without transformation; the latter can lead to transformation when paired with the gospel. One only needs to look at the pre-Constantinian era. Jesus and the apostles won people without worldly power.

Given the people you've noted he associated with, it seems he's likely Reformed. The basis of this theology is that there are a fixed number of people elected, no more. While God uses means of grace, like the actual Gospel, a "Christian culture" will save no one else. This view is so contradictory.

That's because of irrigation sprinklers on a pivot. Lived about 90 miles away from Garden City for several years, and we'd do well to get 15 inches of precip a year.

Interesting that it doesn't specifically state what their cause was...If the word Confederate wasn't near the end of the inscription, it wouldn't be entirely clear that this is a memorial to that side.

Obviously. (Although it might now include Russians, even though they were historically from "the East.")

I find it interesting that they complain about the loss of "Western Civilization" while simultaneously hating on Latin Americans whose background is tied at least partially to Spain or Portugal and very much so to Roman (i.e., Western) Catholicism. It doesn't get much more "western" than that.

Somewhat interesting, at least tot me, that the biggest gender gap was "lead worship."

He also admits he's light on the Bible in the beginning of the book. Probably because his ideas contradict it in so many ways.

Imagine having a book on "Christian political theory" that nearly entirely ignores the actual teaching of Jesus and the Apostles.

What's the combination of education and gender that leads to the highest level of religious attendance?

It's men with graduate degrees.

That's appeared consistently in the data since 2016.

Can we actually say that people who have never encountered Jesus Christ or his gospel are Christians? Sure, they might be nominally and culturally "Christian", but are they really Christian.

Bad theology, while seeming abstract, can have some very serious and concrete real-world consequences.

A high net worth might indicate wisdom for first gen folks who built something. A couple of those who are frequently in the news today were born with gilded spoons in their mouths, and one kind of ran daddy's businesses in the ground before becoming immenently successful in self promotion.

People saying Ukraine has no chance to beat mighty Russia are the same people who were all about sending money and arms to Afghanistan in the 1980s, a country that was not as advanced as Ukraine...and Afghanistan largely contributed to the end of the USSR.
