I'm blown away by the support for trans people within Minnesota as we push our party to Do Better. I refuse to let this be quietly pushed down and hidden in the name of "unity" or "civility." I am not making myself smaller to appease a transphobic few.

My research with the SEA Lab on wave-powered aquaculture farm siting has been published in Renewable Energy! Our analysis found several trends, including decreasing costs in areas with better wave activity far from shore, and the importance of identifying conflicts with existing ocean activities.

COP 29 is the most recent example of climate debt being passed off as generosity, but I’ve seen it at the local level too in my work with home energy upgrades. If the only way to justify funding is an ROI, it’s probably not sustainable, financially or environmentally.
