It seems kind of unbelievable that people let Dick Cheney be vice. Like I was only 10 at the time but I can’t imagine a candidate now could just quietly choose someone who hasn’t been elected in more than a decade as Vice President. Just picking a guy straight out of the oil business to be 2nd.

They could theoretically just cut arbitrarily across the board to be cruel like they usually do, but they’d have to find a way to implement that at stores AND it would get slice and diced by agribusiness bribes before any standard could ever be finalized
