“Shallow analysis” = LOL. Thanks for the gratuitous insult. I, a stranger but a neighbor (Arlington), am telling you that your original statement was a jumbled mess that no one outside your organization ever finished reading. Lay your deep wisdom on me, kid.

I understand but disagree, mostly. Sustainability is the only attribute lost. Equity & inclusiveness are part of "for all." As for "vibrancy," I don't know what that even means, so no loss. The statement was wordy; I stop reading before I get to "health & safety for all," which to me is the mission.

So basically under Trump our closest allies are Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Israel, Hungary, Pakistan, and Argentina. bsky.app/profile/atru...

As an editor I prefer the new version. The meaning is not changed and is for me reinforced: health and safety for all. The motivation behind the change in language is distressing but the work is the same.
