It’s a while loop that takes the current game time, ’getGameTime’, subtracts a variable, ‘Time’, until it’s greater than 1000 milliseconds.
The original devs likely tossed this together to avoid some sort of race condition.

Attempting to understand the differences and integrations of Autodesk Build and BIM360 reminds of the time I was learning how to use a smith chart.

13.12.2025 14:31 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Looks like a patch panel, so it’s probably data connectors.
08.12.2025 22:33 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Have you ever thought of tilting up the strip to bounce off your clear story? I’ve done that on projects before and found it to look quite nice for filling out a space as well.
06.12.2025 17:09 — 👍 3 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Your point on people preferring “daylight” color temp instead of getting the correct amount of light is a known thing. I can cite some sections of the IES handbook if needed. If I recall correctly it’s due to the aging of the eye causing a yellow filter to form on the eye itself.

15.11.2025 21:40 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Gotta make sure you're using Keyboard(X) and not GameInput Gamepad(XboxX). Confuses me all the time.
14.11.2025 02:42 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0We’ll also learn if Farming Simulator could actually have had the janky driving physics fixed this whole time.
27.10.2025 00:39 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0PS3’s XMB, Wii Channels, and the 360’s blades were the peak and it’s been downhill since. Crazy how you can’t even really theme the PS5 UI unless Sony is in the mood to allow it.
22.10.2025 02:03 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Did you make sure to give the chain physics using parameters?
12.10.2025 14:33 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Feels like the mastering and mixing (?) was better for games during that era as well, even without any special audio frameworks. Somehow, it appears things got rather flat and the range shrunk, similar to how movie audio has been lately.
05.10.2025 16:00 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0From my understanding, yes, that’s the limitation.
29.08.2025 01:49 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0The fact that the OOB families aren’t just purged completely is wack. You’d think that’d be at least automated internally for each release.
23.07.2025 03:08 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Gotta give you bonus points for that accurate IES used on the wall area light in the first image 🔎 It looks like a NEMA type 2 distribution.
13.06.2025 16:38 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0You can even export natively (!!) from #Revit including materials (!!!!) by importing a DWFX file. Which Max only exports.
13.06.2025 16:22 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Anyone ever use #Autodesk VRED for things besides automotive visualization?
Seems like its renderer has lots of features that make it viable for #ArchViz when compared to Max or even Enscape.
This is a known issue that’s been brought up on various forums. No idea on a fix though.

19.02.2025 15:46 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0If only they were able to release a version that could be locally run.
11.02.2025 15:40 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0That’s wild. I was under the impression that they had lost the source code long ago. Hopefully they were able to get the internal dev tools too.
11.02.2025 15:38 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I'm not sure that they have the source to even attempt a proper fix.
10.02.2025 23:42 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0How likely is it that this “pausing” closes revit without saving or syncing?
