repost of an old thread i refer to a lot and want here too. "logic jail" is a term i picked up from a friend whose workplace uses it to describe the trap of "only logical things can happen in a story or it's a plot hole." no it isn't! people do illogical things for rich internal reasons constantly

When I first started making comics years ago I was so nervous that it felt impossible to finish anything. I set deadlines as a way to force myself out of perfectionism. It turned out great: I became less and less paranoid about my work and it becomes a fun little tradition for me and my followers.

Wanted to draw hair and turns out it was Homura Madoka Magica’s hair who woulda thunk.

Look I thought I was done with Puppeteer after my last Sleepless Domain picture but it turns out not so I dissociated for several days and drew 86 individual bloody flowers like a very sane person.

Epic released the Circe Saga and Puppeteer hits so much higher above its weight class so I had to draw this lady from Sleepless Domain about it
