This short story draft is finally getting close to what I've been imagining, and there's no better feeling. Fingers crossed it finds it home in an anthology soon!

With my birthday coming up this weekend, I'm reflecting a lot on the last year. I parented a newborn and a toddler! I read a lot! I wrote & published some short stories! I went on submission with my YA horror! I'm proud of the last year & hopeful for this next chapter 🥳

This makes me so happy 🥹❤️

Charging into the new month feeling excited about short story submissions... and also simultaneously panicking about any acceptance or rejection emails that arrive today because what if they're some elaborate April Fools ruse?! 😂
