is it kind of standalone? because I didn't like or get into the first episode and wasn't sure if I would watch the full series when they all dropped. But if its a great ep, I may dip back in...

Some of us also have the internal pressure to just be better than straight men to prove something to ourselves and of course desire to excel in college to get a great job to get the fuck out of our hometown (and be more successful than 90% of your graduating class, but that's me being petty).
