You know what's crazy? There have been no op-eds or editorial statements in major newspapers this year calling on Trump to resign. None calling for his impeachment. None asking if he's medically fit to be in office. Not one in any major newspaper all year.

Republicans raise concerns about ICE officers being “doxed.”[xiv] But “doxing” has never been understood to include seeing the face or learning the name of a state officer. Measures may be undertaken to protect online access to the home addresses of some federal officers in sensitive roles, as many are advocating for judges who are increasingly living under physical threat because of incendiary rhetoric coming from Trump and his supporters. But concealing their identity is not a constitutional solution. We have every right to know the identity of those officers are who are abducting migrants and U.S. citizens from our streets, and under whose authority they are purporting to act. Officers of the state should be proud to identify themselves as such. When they are not, it is a warning flag for democracy.

The state of California needs to arrest the DHS "security" forces for assault and every Democrat in the U.S. Senate needs to sign onto a campaign to impeach Kristi Noem.

Covered countless press conferences in 20+ yrs in journalism. I've seen critics, including elected officials, show up to question/confront speakers. I've never seen anything like this in response.

There is only one way to end the war: put pressure on the Russians. The Trump people did the opposite: put pressure on Ukraine, and relieved pressure on Russia. They have made the war worse while talking of "peace."

I don't really care what the "political consequences" are of fighting for the proposition that *everyone* is entitled to due process before they are removed from the United States and sent to a Salvadoran prison.

It's not really a principle if you only adhere to it when it's politically expedient.

Harvard Will Not Comply With a List of Trump Administration Demands Federal officials said Harvard must enact “merit-based reform” in hiring and admissions and report international students who broke rules, among other steps. Harvard called the demands unlawful.

Harvard University said on Monday that it had rejected policy changes requested by the Trump administration, becoming the first university to directly refuse to comply with its demands and setting up a showdown between the federal government and the nation’s wealthiest university.

NEW: Yesterday, the Justice Department sent armed marshals to warn former U.S. pardon attorney Liz Oyer not to disclose internal DOJ information during her Senate testimony.

Today, Oyer is speaking out to condemn the DOJ’s actions and defend the rule of law.

Not sure why media organizations refer to an "anti-DEI push" when what is happening is racist, sexist censorship and suppression of free speech. If we don't call it what it is, it'll continue to slip under the radar. Same with the administration's alleged "concerns about anti-Semitism."

Not only are there actual Nazis in this administration, not only does the whole team traffic in anti-Semitic tropes and slurs, but the pressure on universities about anti-Semitism has zero to do with anti-Semitism and everything to do with them justifying their attacks on academic freedom.

I want someone with reach to point out that -- as great as some of the ideas to pad his speech with silly readings (a la Cruz w/Green Eggs and Ham) were -- he did the one thing that crushes them all: he spoke clearly and articulately about actual issues. No fluff. All substance and grit.

As of Friday, there have been 46 cases in which federal judges have blocked Trump policies.

The rulings in those cases have come from 39 different judges appointed by 5 different presidents (of both parties) to 11 different district courts across 7 different circuits.
