That is generally the situation with Rangers fans. Remember being away with our commercial lawyer (really nice guy) - running him home he got me to stop at an off licence to pick up a bottle of port as he had some friends coming to watch football. Celtic v Porto UEFA Cup Final - enough said.

I grew up in the 70s so my ‘team’ then was Celtic because they won and because of Dalglish - staying in and around Edinburgh for most of my adult life I’ve got a few Hearts fans as friends and am more drawn to them now so this season is fun. Also have soft spot for Raith Rovers - other side of coin.

You are correct. It’s a very small and very parochial thing - but for those fans of those teams it still means as much to them as our own joys and our travails. The Old Firm though - just grim.

Best case and reasonably sunlit uplands are good for me until such time as they are no longer on the menu. Although our eyes and heads may already be trying to tell us that now. I’m still happy to go with the heart.

I’m definitely here for this. I love his unpredictability, his pace and his general mad radgeness. Eddie (who I’m still in board with) does seem to operate in tactical ‘straight lines’ - a bit of tactical entropy every now and then would be fun - and may confuse the oppo.
