Neben dem Fall der Brandmauer: Auch der obsessive Fokus auf Migrationsbegrenzung dieser Wochen ist beängstigend. Eine systematisch entmenschlichende Rhetorik schafft neue Möglichkeitsräume dessen, was politisch sag- und verhandelbar wird. Migration als ultimativer Sündenbock - fernab jeder Evidenz.

Es wird radikal: Die CDU bedroht die Fundamente des Rechtsstaats Unter Friedrich Merz driftet die Partei in Richtung eines „radikalisierten Konservatismus“. Das heißt: Kulturkampf, Polarisierung und Nähe zum Rechtsextremismus.
