I mean, 35-40 years ago “diss” wasn’t a regular part of daily talk but now it’s common to see pretty much everyone using “diss” in “serious” conversations. There are words and meaning we use in 2025 that didn’t exist in 2005 or 1995.

Maybe we should just let AI write since humans aren’t perfect.

I don’t think they voted for losing jobs, losing benefits, losing basic civil services, and making the economy less stable and more expensive to live in. They voted for racist, anti-immigration policies and fiscal responsibility (like maybe making some rich people pay fair taxes?), not golf trips.

People use the word. It’s not pejorative or bigoted or anything but fun and recent and a literal sign of the tech censor times. My goodness, imagine the huff you’d’ve had over Dickens back in the day. *So much* slang. Immersive. Words 19th-century grammarians probably responded to the same way.

Language is ever evolving so if a writer wants to write "unalive" especially if it's a part of the character's dialogue, let them. Who cares?
