Trump is just so damned corrupt it’s a complete embarrassment for the US. We’ve spent decades building clout and respect on the world stage only to have Trump screw it all up in a matter of months. His incompetence and corruption are astounding.

The Dems are gonna grab defeat from the Jaws of victory in 2026 aren’t they? The electorate is looking for fighters and those that will break the corruption in Congress. Big money vs the people - hopefully the people win.

Unfortunately the complete files will never be released. The sham investigation by a corrupt DOJ (who just months ago said there was no case) will prevent release due to an “ongoing investigation”. The other aspect is we can’t trust DOJ to not destroy evidence, anyone else have the files?

Another question is whether we will ever see the complete Epstein files. Between having to over ride a Trump veto and justifiable skepticism about DOJ’s integrity with the files we may never have the actual evidence to prove the full scope of criminality. A complete failure of our system of govt

When big $$$ owns media, the media will always bend to $$$ and not what is necessary for democracy to flourish. Not sure how this gets fixed but right now it’s snowballing towards fascism and oligarch rule

I left a message for Schumer, as this is all on him and his leadership if they cave. Even if he votes no it’s his job to hold the caucus together on something this important. The vote they are being promised will either fail in Senate or will never see the light in the House and Trump isn’t signing

The GOP’s new response to any question that they have no good answer to. In fact most of Mike Johnson’s responses are the same. Why media continues to platform liars without explicitly calling out the lies is beyond the pale.
