1.A49, without opt outs
2.EEA, while it still exists
3.Do nothing
4.Spend decades debating opt outs + EU treaty amendments which aren't going to happen but will keep you occupied while 3 continues.

Having just returned from the UK, permit me to make a few observations.

Dear Brits:

Let your politicians know that the geopolitical, economic, and social landscape has changed a lot since early Brexit.

As an exercise in self-harm, it's run its course. Return to the EU, ASAP.

It's an imaginary negotiation process, that is simply wasting time in the UK.

All the other applications are a good clue. Maybe Turkey is still trying to negotiate, mainly with itself.

The UK would be applying to join the EU. The only negotiation is how and when the applicant is going to complete all the legal and economic milestones required to be accepted. If the UK has aspects of EU membership it doesn't want to participate in, it doesn't really want to join.

It's possible that Nigel Farage can't walk around the West End after 9pm because thousands of passers-by would call him a cunt, I can see that.
