The beauty of Xiahoe a mummy from the Xiaohe cemetery wears a necklace of fermented dairy, cheese or kefir or something like that that points to another direction of creation for kefir coming from the east and not just in Caucasus area. It's from 1800BCE roughly and it's very well preserved since the arid climate and saline sands kept her very very well.
