Yeah, I can’t imagine jumping in in the current state and trying to manage all the new stuff without having played patch 1. I like a lot of it, but it would be overwhelming to learn right off the bat, and there are a couple systems I definitely prefer to use mods to tweak or turn off.

Honestly I really like ck3 and have been playing since launch, but some of the newer patches have introduced mechanics I don’t like dealing with. In steam you’re able to run earlier versions of the game, and that’s what I usually do. I hate plagues mainly.
