I gave up believing thereโ€™ll be a ceasefire a long time ago. Especially because it comes from a bumbling orange fool wanting to distract from the Epstein files and because Netanyahu hasnโ€™t one ounce of humanity.
Itโ€™s a land grab.

Only the rest of the world can stand up to fascism, where are you?

Owen has made mistakes in the past, many of us have, but I like that he will hold his hands up to it and will fight for what is right.
We need to move on and pull together.

Damn. This is amazing. ยฃ325 per week, paid monthly, for 3 years - and the result was a profit for the Irish economy:

Deport The Telegraph, The Express and any other media company repeating this fascism and making it appear normal.

I say this with the bluntness it requires: they will get people murdered if this continues. This is not just populism anymore either: itโ€™s completely unhinged and a deliberate choice that does endanger lives. I am not saying this lightly at all.

More sadly weโ€™ve had a continuation of that ever since, getting more cruel by the day.

I thought Britain was a kind, caring, fair, compassionate country.

Turns out those in power are greedy fucks with a long term plan to keep us down.

Yep Iโ€™m scared of fascism and more so, the environmental collapse, hence eager to do something about it.
Even to browbeat if necessary, people need to see the light before itโ€™s too late.
Funny, I thought I was being pretty gentle, given the urgency.
Maybe itโ€™s because Iโ€™m Green.
All the best.

Before we finish up, you said weโ€™re turbofucked.

Who by? And why?

Because I couldnโ€™t agree more. There are much bigger fundamental issues I have a problem with. Gaza, inequality, war, the environment, all things the Greens are tackling head on.

BBC Laura Kuenssberg Show Accused of Anti-Green Bias After Cancelling Zack Polanski Interview The new Green Party leader was the only major party leader not to have been granted a conference interview on the flagship BBC show

BBC now suggesting they didn't interview Zack Polanski on Laura Kuenssberg when he was elected because they weren't on air then. Which is technically true because he was elected on a Tuesday. However, they did air just days later on Sunday and featured interviews with Nigel Farage and Kemi Badenoch

Ok, sure but please look into their other policies, thereโ€™s little not to like.

Hahaha, no itโ€™s Not In My Back Yard.
No one is saying that, re-read what Iโ€™ve said.
No one wants to live somewhere where they canโ€™t get their kids into schools, get access to Drs etc
Planning properly and not destroying the things we like about this country is worth a discussion.

06.10.2025 17:30 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

But you say itโ€™s because of NIMBYism, Iโ€™m saying the Green Party is far from that. They want better planning, they want people to get involved, to find solutions. Not simply tear ahead because it looks pro-active, but to give us what we actually need.

06.10.2025 16:35 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

So where do children go to school? If people are sick how do they find a Doctor?
Places are being put up with no thought to the infrastructure at all. No play parks, no parks. No transport.
Very different in a big city.
And soon to be decreasing population.
You donโ€™t get green fields back.

06.10.2025 16:29 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

In my back yard is great if 4 bedroom houses are in areas with school places, GP practices, hospitals, good transport facilities Iโ€™d say absolutely, these homes. But there isnโ€™t.
If itโ€™s a lack of houses for people to downsize, freeing up a bigger family home then yes, wrong homes in wrong places.

06.10.2025 16:21 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

86,000+ green party members.
Lets get that increasing. And whilst doing so, reduce arrogant Labour's numbers.

Gaza Health Ministry (Oct 6):
24h: 21 killed, 96 injured. Many more under rubble.
Total since Oct 7, 2023: 67,160 killed & 169,679 injured.
Aid-seeking casualties: +2 in 24h, total now 2,610 killed.

So the Conservatives think that bribing young people is their best bet.
Up to ยฃ5000 tax rebate to buy their first home.
So expect house prices to instantly increase. ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ
And if abolishing business rates for high street shops was doable, why didnโ€™t they do it before our high streets emptied? ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ #CPC25

06.10.2025 13:34 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 2    ๐Ÿ” 1    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

The Green Partyโ€™d never say itโ€™s a minor thing, Polanski is very aware of the homelessness problem and impact rent hikes is having, especially for young people.
Thatโ€™s why there is no sustainable development without having a fairer society.
Not NIMBYism, just not wreck something we wonโ€™t get back.

06.10.2025 13:16 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Yes, London is planning quite well, leaving some areas for wetlands and parks. But maybe you should look outside London.
Our English countryside is/was beautiful and diverse, going fast.
What about the demography of our country? Singletons and elderly? Those properties donโ€™t attract developers.

06.10.2025 10:46 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Why do I feel that someone lives on a route of the march and theyโ€™re finding it a tad โ€˜inconvenientโ€™ so have complained.
A bit like you know where some councillors live as their street is always the smartest and best equipped.

06.10.2025 07:35 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Also, isnโ€™t our population decreasing? The amount of young people having kids is lowering. Yet homes for older people not being addressed, so they can move out of their four bedroom homes and downsize?
Our countryside is being depleted at such a rate and it rarely returns.
Better planning needed.

06.10.2025 07:25 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

What about other ways to make sure we have enough homes?
No second homes. No AirBnBs that are empty half the year. No homes left empty, just kept as tax avoidance or as investments.
Sure, we need homes, but not (necessarily) on green fields and with planned services.

06.10.2025 07:18 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 2    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Do you think how itโ€™s been rolled out and the cost, both monetary and to the countryside, has been worth it?

I honestly think more consultation and keeping the public informed, should have been there from the start.

Our country is changing beyond recognition and it isnโ€™t migrants doing it.

05.10.2025 21:36 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Your idea of the Green Party is somewhat outdated, Iโ€™m confused as to where and why you think that.
Our country needs clear plans - good investment in the right places.
Selling off energy/water was short term, we need to own them again.
A transport system that works for all, not just in cities.

I'm completely failing at trying to summarise it, so you'll have to go and watch the whole thing.

Why did the #BBC add a sound track to a still photograph of a Palestinian march?

Why do they never show the Jewish people, who obviously donโ€™t feel intimidated or scared, who are with those on the march?

Huge bias.
