Because neurodivergent people are so literal and honest, we get mislabeled as rude, sassy, or smart-mouthed when we’re actually just being exact.

It is an autistic thing. When two autistic people talk to each other, they talk over and around each other but understand the conversation. NT people need to take turns, or it’s confusing and disorienting to them. They also use subtle social cues we autistics don’t always pick up on

♾️ I couldn't go to parties or use a bus by myself

♾️ I wanted to be alone in my bedroom, not socialising
